Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima, more commonly known as O’ fenomeno, never seems to get tired of winning. It matters not if he is overweight, skinny, on a bad knee, tore tendons, or partying with transvestites, he always finds a way to make a comeback and win. This past Sunday was no exception as Ronaldo helped his current club Corinthians win the state Championship.
The record winning Corinthians side not only extended their unbeaten streak at the Pacaembu stadium to 25 matches but their crowning achievement was also the first time in almost 40 years that the winner of the Paulista State Championship went unbeaten through the tournament. And with Ronaldo at their side one can expect much more from the “Timão”, O’ fenomeno after all has won 10 of the 13 finals he has played in!
“I can honestly tell you that I am the happiest man on earth", Ronaldo told reporters after the match. "It has been a long road to recovery and today's title makes everything that much more special. It feels great. The victory means a lot to me, I can’t stop, won’t stop, hit it, hit it".
