FMF supremo Justino Compean finally showed some back bone and told CONMEBOL to shine their Copa Libertadores trophy nice and slow, turn it sideways, and stick it straight up their candy asses.
“As president of the FMF, I would like to announce that Mexican football will withdraw completely from all CONMEBOL competition until we reach an agreement,” Compean said. “If we want to compete, it has to be as equals. ‘Fair play’ must prevail.”
I was looking forward to my beloved Chivas match against Sao Paolo but a few shady characters from COMEBOLAS kept looking to benefit from the swine-flu "pandemic" to gain leverage in the match.
I say this because even neutral venues like Miami and Los Angeles were refused. The South Americans instead have pressured to have both legs, or a one off match, played in their own homes.
In the mean time nothing has been said about the Dengue fever outbreak affecting Argentina; which has now spread into their capitol. I doubt, however, that Bosta Jrs will get the same treatment as the Mexican clubs.
