Juan Carlos Chavez strikes back
Juan Carlos Chavez y Chavez, one month after failing to qualify to the Youth World Cup, has managed to pick up his first piece of silverware by winning the Mediterranean International Cup.
Perhaps, what is most interesting about the U-18 Tricolor side that won their category is that they overcame three penalty kick shootouts before being crowned. In the round of sixteen Mexico defeated Girnoa 5-4 via penalty kicks then they repeated the doses to Sportic do Brasil in the quarterfinal and in the final, after overcoming a two goal deficit, took down the Brazilian U-18 national team with a 4-2 penalty kick shootout victory.

Girnoa? Sportic? que chingaos? que son, AYSO teams?
ReplyDeleteThey could have beaten the Puerto Rico Islanders just the fact that a Mexican team was able to win three times in penalty kick shoot outs is a massive achievement!
ReplyDeleteCarlos, estas haciendo un trabajo increible, todos los equipos tienen altas y bajas. Estoy muy orgullosa de ti.
